The presidium of the fourth session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) reviewed and approved several draft resolutions on Sunday. [Special coverage]
Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the meeting.
The presidium heard reports on how deputies thought about the government work report, the national economic and social development plan, the central and local budgets, as well as draft resolutions on these documents. The draft resolutions will be distributed to NPC delegations for deliberation.
A total of 61 revisions were made in the government work report based on the views and proposals from NPC deputies, said a statement issued after the presidium meeting.
The presidium also heard reports of what NPC deputies proposed to revise the draft outline of the 13th five-year national development plan and the draft charity law.
The presidium approved to distribute the revised version of the draft charity law to the NPC delegations for further review.
