Hijacker of Egyptian passenger plane said he carried explosive device with him while highjacking the airplane No. 181 with 81 people on board, State TV said.
Egyptair Company has officially announced its plane that was heading from Alexandria to Cairo has been kidnapped and diverted to Cyprus on Tuesday, state TV reported.
According to the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation and Cyprus state radio, the Egyptair plane carried about 81 people on board, among which a man was suspected to have carried a bomb.
