During his state visit to Belarus in May, 2015, Xi and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko planted a dragon spruce tree together at the backyard of the Independence Palace in token of the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Xi said that China and Belarus should enhance political trust and always support each other's view on development and the path of development.
