Chinese teenager singer and songwriter Leah Dou will release her first original English album "Stone Café" on April 22.
The 19-year-old singer is the daughter of famous Chinese musicians Faye Wong and Dou Wei.
Dou's album is named after a college canteen called Stone Café, which is upstairs from her class when she was studying in an artistic school in California.
The title track "River Run" was a single released last year and reflects the conflicts between humanity and modern life.
Dou created her first well-received work "With You" in 2012 and started her career as a songwriter in 2013, inspired by her life overseas.
She then worked with U.S. music producers Heather Porcaro and Alec Dixon to record "Blue Flamingo," a single launched on iTunes in 2013.
Last weekend, she was invited to perform at the Spring Wave Music and Art Festival in Taiwan.
