Torrential rain and hail have left nine people dead and hundreds of thousands affected in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, authorities said on Tuesday.
More than 13,500 people were forced to relocate as strong rain flooded crops and tore down houses. Five people were killed.
Another four people were found dead on Tuesday night after a landslide buried a house. Two of them were aged eight and nine, authorities said.
