Sweetie Salad, a Chinese salad-delivery service based in Beijing that has earned fame for its promotion using foreign male models dressed up as bare-chested "Spartans" and delivering salads on Beijing's streets last year, recently launched an online shopping platform to sell what it calls "healthy food" such as muesli, dried fruits, herbal tea and oat biscuits.
Most of the items are priced at between 70 and 100 yuan ($11-15).
Sweetie Salad says it maintains high standards to ensure that it provides customers quality food, says Yu Wenlu, founder and chief marketing officer of the service.
Sweetie Salad hopes to become an industry leader in providing healthy food through reaching more people who care about healthy eating, says Yu.
