The top legislature will convene its bi-monthly session from June 27 to July 2, according to a statement issued after a chairpersons' meeting on Monday.
Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, presided over the meeting.
Monday's meeting suggested that legislators at the upcoming bi-monthly session will deliberate on draft laws on asset evaluation and cyberspace security and revisions to the Wildlife Protection Law.
Legislators will also deliberate on proposals, including those to review the draft of the general provisions of civil law and revisions to the law on Red Cross societies.
Moreover, a report by the State Council on the central government's final accounts in 2015 is expected to be reviewed.
