The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison warned local players of a mobile game "Pokemon GO" to stay away from the military Garrison's facilities on July 26, 2016.

The popular location-based game "Pokemon Go" was officially released in Hong Kong on July 25, 2016, which instantly went viral in the city.

A reporter with Hong Kong online media "Hong Kong 01" happened to find a Zubat, a feature in the game, flapping at the door outside the PLA's military barracks, and the reporter caught it at first time.

The two guards of the Hong Kong Garrison did nothing but stared at the reporter all along. They approached the gate of the barrack to watch information of the reporter when the reporter's car drove away, according to the report by "Hong Kong 01".

The PLA's military barracks are enclosed areas and they are only accessible to authorized personnel or staff, a spokesman told the Agence France Press (AFP) on July 26, 2016.

"The PLA Hong Kong Military barracks are restricted areas under the law of Hong Kong. No one is allowed to enter the military restricted areas without the authorization of the commanding officer", the Agence France Press (AFP) quoted on July 26, 2016.
