A car exploded in front of the Chinese embassy here in the Kyrgyz capital on Tuesday, causing casualties, authorities and witnesses said.
A Kyrgyz senior security officer told Xinhua that it was a suicide car bombing attack, in which the driver tried to ram the gate of the embassy compound.
The incident left three people injured, but their identities and nationalities are yet to be determined, he said, without offering more details.
