China is willing to participate in the development of Russia's Far East region, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said here Friday.
Hua Chunying told a daily news briefing that the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok, Russia, will be an important platform for China-Russia cooperation in Russia's Far East development.
Chen Changzhi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, will attend the economic forum, she said.
She said that China was ready to improve cooperation with Russia on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, while making the best use of each other's complementary advantages, and explore potential for cooperation and promote common development in border areas.
