Creative cultural products open public's eyes
Designer Zeng Fengfei, with his more than 60 sets of clothing inspired by elements from the Palace Museum, staged a "Forbidden City" show, which amazed Chengdu citizens.
Aside from the popular cultural products from the Palace Museum, other museums around the nation have been racking their brains in creating interesting products. For example, the Sichuan Museum displayed its scalable headset printed with Zhang Daqian's painting Court Lady holds a Blanket. Pottery figurines from Han Dynasty "jumped" onto the lid of the cup, an adorable interpretation of the cultural artifacts.
Creative cultural products have penetrated into every part of people's lives, from purses, scarves, umbrellas, to slippers, table lamps and phone cases, even the packaging of desserts and tea are decorated with cultural elements. A post-95 customer who came to buy creative cultural products said, "These items are common in daily life, while infused with museums' cultural elements, so that tradition collides with modernity, and they become mysterious for me."
