A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Litang County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, in southwest China's Sichuan Province, at 1:23 a.m. Friday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of about 16 km, was monitored at 30.10 degrees north latitude and 99.61 degrees east longitude.
No casualties have been reported so far.
