Domestic fantasy film "A Chinese Odyssey: Part III" continued to dominate the Chinese box office in the week ending September 25, earning 88 million yuan (13.2 million U.S. dollars), China Film News reported Thursday.
The film has grossed a total of 339 million yuan since it debuted on September 14.
Domestic romance "Soul Mate" took second place, generating 69 million yuan in the week after its release on September 14.
Hong Kong action film "Z Storm II" ranked third, raking in 68.5 million yuan during the week.
"Cock and Bull," a domestic suspense movie, came fourth with 43.9 million yuan in sales on its second week in Chinese theaters.
Rounding out the top five was the U.S. animation "Storks," which has grossed 34.8 million yuan since hitting Chinese screens on September 23.
