A cold front will sweep north China and bring lower temperature and rainfalls over the next two days, China's national observatory said Tuesday.
Temperature will drop 4-6 degrees Celsius in parts of the northwest, the northeast, Inner Mongolia, and regions to the north of the Yellow River and Huaihe River from Tuesday to Wednesday, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).
Some of those areas will see temperature down by 8 degrees or more, the NMC said.
It also forecast light or shower rain in those regions, with parts of Inner Mongolia, Hebei and Jilin to see moderate or heavy rain.
On Tuesday morning, heavy fog will engulf parts of Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces in east and central China, the NMC said, advising drivers to be cautious on the road.
