The Israeli Embassy announced on September 26 that the ten-year visa agreement between China and Israel would become valid on November 11.
This new visa policy is aimed at increasing tourism and cultural communication between China and Israel. The agreement was signed in March during the China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation Cooperation.
According to the agreement, Chinese visitors will be able to stay in Israel for 90 consecutive days, with multiple entries. The ties between Israel and China are growing in many areas including trade, investment, culture, academy and tourism, and the policy will help further develop the relations between the two countries. Meanwhile, China has the largest increase in tourism in the world; there is a constant growth of Chinese tourists visiting Israel.
