When I visited Yanghe, there was no evidence of a slowdown and the factory was in full swing, gearing up for one of its busiest time of year - the Double Eleven Shopping Festival.

Tan Xiaopeng, a 29-year-old visitor, expressed his interest in the liquor culture tour.
"The tour is totally amazing, far beyond my expectations. I not only get the chance to taste some tasteful liquor but have a better understanding of the process to make a bottle of liquor."
Worker Zhang Yuncong said it's estimated that more than 400,000 visitors both at home and abroad will arrive at the liquor culture park this year.
"Yanghe also hopes to cash in on the allure of the brand by investing heavily to make the town a top tourism destination," Zhang added.
Time will tell if Yanghe's expansion plans, coupled with its marketing efforts online and overseas, will help the renowned brand not just survive but thrive amid the present market slowdown.
