A court in central China's Henan Province on Wednesday heard the graft case of a former senior judicial official who acquired large amounts of cash and property.
Li Jinhua, former deputy head of the provincial procuratorate, was accused of taking bribes of over 8.68 million yuan (1.26 million U.S. dollars) during various official positions from 2004 to 2014, said an official with the Puyang City Intermediate People's Court.
The court also found he could not explain the sources of a further 13.22 million yuan found on his property.
Li confessed and told the court he regretted his crimes.
The ruling will be announced at a later date.
