A factory in east China's Shandong Province was on fire Tuesday evening, leaving five people dead and four others injured, local authorities said Wednesday.
The fire broke out around 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday at a electronic company in Haiyang City. It was extinguished as of 11:33 p.m., according to the city's publicity department.
Five people were found to be dead, and four others were injured. The injured have been hospitalized and are in stable conditions.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
