Highly rated midfielder Rodriguinho is set to become the latest Brazilian to join the Chinese Super League, according to media reports on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Corinthians player has told his agent of his wish to relocate to China in the coming weeks, according to Uol Esporte.
After loan spells at Gremio and Al-Sharjah, Rodriguinho returned to Corinthians in 2015 and has since consolidated his place in the first-team. He was the club's second-top scorer in 2016 with 10 goals.
Corinthians are understood to be against the move as they seek to extend Rodriguinho's current contract, which expires in December.
The Brazilian outfit lost Renato Augusto (Beijing Guoan), Ralf (Beijing Guoan) and Gil (Shandong Luneng) to Chinese clubs in the past year.
