Zang Ruixin won the women's snowboard slalom on Monday, gifting China its second gold at the eighth Asian Winter Games.
The 23-year-old girl clocked 1 minutes and 23.62 seconds to win the title after two runs, beating Japanese Eri Yanetani to the second place in 1:23.69.
"I did really well in the first run to take the first place, which gave me much confidence in the second to compete with her (Eri)," said Zang, who took the silver of the giant slam snowboard on Sunday, losing to Yanetani.
Early on, cross-country skier Man Dandan grabbed the first gold for China in Sapporo.
"I am happy to win the second gold for China. I hope I can get the chance to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and 2022 in Beijing," added Zang.
The bronze went to Shin Da Hae of South Korea in 1:26.42.
In the men's event, Lee Sang Ho of South Korea took the gold and Yuya Suzuki of Japan snatched the silver, while the bronze went to Kim Sang Kyum of South Korea.
Zhang Yuan and Bi Ye of China finished fifth and sixth respectively.
