Panda cub Bao Bao made her debut in China on Friday at the China Conservation and Research Center in the southwestern Province of Sichuan.
Bao Bao was born on August 23, 2013 in the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. Under an agreement between China and the US, she returned home last month before turning four years old.
She spent a month in quarantine, before finally meeting members of the Chinese public. She got used to eating Chinese food, and now weighs 94 kilograms – up from 92 kilograms when she first arrived to her homeland.
