Guangzhou Evergrande beat Tianjin Teda 3-0 in the fifth round of the 2017 Chinese Super League (CSL) Sunday evening.
Striker Alan won a penalty in the 12th minute, and his fellow Brazilian Goulart put it in for Guangzhou. In the 72nd minute, Goulart scored his second off a corner kick, before Yu Hanchao sealed the victory with a close range shot in the 84th minute.
After the victory, Guangzhou climbed to third with 10 points in the CSL standings, two behind leaders Shandong Luneng, while Shanghai SIPG placed second, also with 10 points, on goal differential.
In another fifth round match, Yanbian Fude tied 1-1 with Hebei China Fortune. Alosio scored the opener for Hebei in the 56th minute, before South Korean striker Kim Seung-Dae hit the equalizer for the home team, the first goal of the season for Yanbian.
On Monday, Liaoning Shenyang Carsng will play Guangzhou R& F.
