Chinese copyright regulator publicizes piracy cases

National Copyright Administration on Wednesday publicized 10 cases involving copyright infringement in 2016.

They included the publishing and selling of pirated books, and unlicensed distribution of literature, music, games and audiovisual products on the Internet, said the administration.

In one case, a smart phone app named "echo huisheng" was found to have provided unlicensed music to users.

In another case, a bar named "Huimeng movie" was found to have illegally recorded films in theaters and screened them in the bar.
