Science fiction has become reality as the world's first commercially available flying car debuted at a car expo in Monaco.
The vehicle, developed by Slovak company AeroMobil, took the spotlight at the Top Marques show last Thursday.
The flying car can switch between an ordinary car and a plane within a couple of minutes. The attached wing will open when it takes off and fold up when landing.
While it is expected to take 10 years for flying over private property to be legalized, AeroMobil's makers say they have launched the unusual vehicle in the hope of bringing personal transport into a new era.
