Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday met with his Indonesian, Hungarian and Greek counterparts on the eve of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.[Special Coverage]
Wang told Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi that China and Indonesia -- both big developing countries with extensive common interests -- should jointly strive for regional peace, stability and prosperity.
In their meeting, Wang and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto agreed to advance cooperation under the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 16+1 mechanism.
Wang and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said they are happy with the progress of bilateral cooperation and would like to continue efforts for holding the Ancient Civilizations Forum.
