The intercepted Russian Katalexa yacht has returned to the Far East city of Vladivostok on Sunday, the local Maritime Rescue Coordination Center said on Monday.
On June 15, the yacht with three crew members on board was intercepted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the western Sea of Japan.
A similar incident occurred last year when the DPRK seized a Russian yacht en route from South Korea to Vladivostok. The DPRK later released the yacht.
