Guangzhou R&F claimed a third consecutive victory in the Chinese Super League (CSL) Sunday night, as the club stun Liaoning Shenyang Carsing 4-1 at home in the 20th round of CSL.
Danish veteran Solvi Ottesen scored his first goal after his return to the CSL in the first half. Israeli football star Eran Zahavi helped Guangzhou took a 3-0 lead by score one goal and assisting his teammate Tang Miao in the 25th and 28th minute respectively.
Liaoning's Assani Lukimya pulled back one goal for the visitors in the 36th minute, but Zahavi's late goal in the 95th minute extinguished Liaoning's hope.
In another 20th round match, Shanghai SIPG were forced to a goalless draw by Tianjin Quanjian FC, and the former haven't been able to win a game in the recent three rounds of CSL games.
