The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) called on Tuesday the Norwegian Nobel Committee to immediately strip Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi of the Nobel Peace Prize to which she was awarded in 1991.
ISESCO said in a statement that Suu kyi "has lost the right to this prize because of what her country, under her leadership, is doing against the Muslim Rohingya minority."
Myanmar's despicable acts are against the essence of the Nobel Peace Prize, the statement added.
The statement urged the international community to intervene immediately to stop the atrocities and the dangerous violations of human rights in Myanmar.
