China's first television show featuring robot combat competitions will be aired in October.
The show, "Fighting, My Bots," is scheduled to be aired each weekend on Anhui TV, one of its producers, a Shanghai-based company focusing on robotic fighting, said on Tuesday.
One of the show's anchors is expected to be humanoid robot Jia Jia developed by the University of Science and Technology of China, a life-like, with natural eye movements and speech.
The camera crew will collect news about the progress of robotics in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Israel and Japan.
