China and the United States will hold their first social and cultural dialogue on Sept. 28 in Washington D.C, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said at a routine press briefing Monday.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will co-chair the dialogue with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
The two sides will have in-depth exchange of views on bilateral exchanges and cooperation in relevant areas, according to Lu.
China would like to work with the United States for positive outcome from the dialogue, said Lu.
