London auction house Phillips will hold its Hong Kong autumn sale for 2017 from Nov. 26 to Nov. 28, presenting curated offerings of art, design, jewelry and watches, it said Wednesday.
Highlights include international modern and contemporary art, with Tokyo-based teamLab's "Universe of Water Particles," a virtual waterfall created in an immersive 3-D virtual space, according to Phillips.
Jonathan Crockett, deputy chairman of Phillips' Asia office, said it will be the first time that a digital artwork is shown on Phillips' auction, with the utmost estimated price of 950,000 HK dollars (about 121,600 U.S. dollars).
Jewels and Jadeite section will be led by a ruby and diamond necklace with an estimated price of 9 million to 12 million HK dollars.
