Guangzhou Evergrande sealed their seventh straight Chinese Super League (CSL) title after beating Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng 5-1 in Guangzhou on Sunday.
With two games remaining, a nine-point lead over second placed Shanghai SIPG is enough for Guangzhou to clinch the victory for the 2017 season.
Gao Lin headed Ricardo Goulart's pin-point cross into far corner in the 15th minute to break the deadlock, and Alan enlarged the lead as the Brazilian easily netted after dribbling past keeper Su Boyang two minutes later.
Guizhou cut the deficit to one after Wang Fan beat keeper Zeng Cheng to score in the 29th minute.
After the half break, Guangzhou added three more goals to ensure their victory.
In the 52nd minute, Goulart's header was deflected by Du Wei but went into the far corner. Yu Hanchao also found the net 25 minutes later, and substitute Muriqui made it 5-1 as the Brazilian tipped Yu's throw-in ball past the keeper in the injury time.
