The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have jointly published a new book on Vladimir Lenin to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution.
"The Wind of October," a memoir of the Russian leader with rare photographs, was presented at the 19th International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
Gennady Zyuganov, first secretary of the CPRF, said the book includes a historical narrative on the main events of Russia's 1917 revolution.
Guo Yezhou, deputy head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, said the book has already been translated into Chinese, and will soon be published in China.
The October Revolution, he added, transformed dreams into reality and showed China the path of socialism.
