At least 90 people died and over thousands were injured in a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Iraq-Iran border area on Sunday, local media reported.
The quake occurred 103 km southeast of the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, and was felt in several Iranian provinces bordering Iraq.
Over 20 Iranian villages in the area have been damaged and the power and water flow have been disrupted.
Iranian emergency teams have rushed to the quake-hit region and helicopters are delivering basic need to people affected by the quake.
