At least three people were killed in a shooting incident near an elementary school Tuesday morning in Rancho Tehama of California, about 190 kilometers north of the state capital of Sacramento.
In a video clip posted online, a deputy of Tehama County Sheriff's Office, who did not disclose his name, said that he did not know how many victims were involved in the shooting but confirmed that at least three people were killed.
The suspected shooter was killed at the scene, the deputy said, adding that the school had been cleared and children had been moved to a safe location.
A local young man told local media that the shooter used a gun with large magazine, and probably fired more than 100 rounds of bullets.
