Disney's universally-acclaimed "Coco" continued to dominate the Chinese film market in the week ending Dec. 10, earning 344 million yuan (about 52 million U.S. dollars), China Film News reported Tuesday.
"Paddington 2," a big-screen adaptation of the family classic about a bear lost in a big city, came in second taking 104 million yuan at the box office in its debut week.
Third place went to domestic film "The Big Call," earning nearly 37.6 million yuan since its release on Dec. 8.
Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's "Justice League" landed in fourth place, generating nearly 30.5 million yuan in the last week. It has made 684 million yuan since its release on Nov. 17.
Rounding out the top five was "Loving Vincent," which grossed nearly 28.7 million yuan in its first week.
