Tieling in northeastern Liaoning was forecast to be minus 18 C on Wednesday with temperatures sliding to minus 27 C on Saturday, according to weather.com.cn, a website administrated by the CMA.

The CMA reported on its official Sina Weibo account on Thursday that the cold front will cause temperatures to decline by 6 to 8 C on average in regions including the North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Northwest China's Shaanxi and Northeast China's Liaoning Provinces. The CMA also issued a strong wind alert for these areas Thursday morning.

Daily lows in Central China's Hunan and East China's Jiangxi and Fujian Provinces will reach 0 C early Monday morning, read the post.
