Deputies to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) from northeast China's Heilongjiang Province arrived in Beijing at 7:20 a.m. on Friday by rail. [Special coverage]
This is the first group of deputies from outside the capital to arrive.
The 13th National People's Congress will open its first annual session in the capital on Monday. A total of 2,980 deputies will attend.
