China's top legislature announced a detailed agenda for the first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) on Sunday, a day ahead of the opening of 13th NPC's first session.[Special coverage]
Below is the timetable of the session.
March 5
First session of the 13th NPC opens at 9 a.m. local time (0100 GMT);
Premier Li Keqiang delivers the 2018 government work report.
March 9
The heads of China's top procuratorate, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and top judiciary, the Supreme People's Court, deliver annual work report respectively.
March 11
The session votes on the draft revision of China's Constitution.
March 13
The session hears on the Communist Party of China (CPC) and state institution reform, including a draft law on supervision.
March 17-19
The session elects and appoints officials of state institutions. They will then take oaths to uphold the state Constitution at the NPC session with nearly 2,980 deputies in attendance.
March 20
The first session of the 13th NPC closes.
There will be 14 press conferences throughout the first session of the NPC.
March 6-7
The director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's economic decision-making body and the minister of finance hold pressers.
March 8
China's foreign minister holds his annual press conference.
March 11
After the vote on the amendments to the Constitution, Chinese lawmakers will meet the press and answer questions about the revisions.
March 20
The premier, along with vice premiers, meet the press and hold their annual press conference.
