Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said Thursday that China is willing to properly handle disputes with India and promote bilateral relations to develop on the right track.
Lu made the remarks at a daily news briefing when asked to comment on recent signs from India seeking to improve ties with China, including canceling a visit by the Dalai Lama to Sikkim Sector.
"China-India relations have maintained positive momentum through joint efforts recently," Lu said.
China is willing to work with the Indian side, guided by the common consensus reached by the two countries' leaders, to continue improving political mutual trust, expand win-win cooperation, and properly handle disputes to make China-India relations develop on the right track.
