Fuel surcharges for domestic routes are set to be canceled starting from Thursday, news portal thepaper.cn reported on Monday。
Several airlines including Xiamen Airlines, and Yunnan Xiangpeng Airlines have already announced the cancellation, said the report, according to which more airlines will follow suit in announcing the latest move in the coming few days。
This marks the second time in six years that fuel surcharges on domestic routes have been removed。
Prior to the removal which comes into effect on Thursday, fuel surcharges for domestic routes had been cut for five consecutive months。
