Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Zambian President Edgar Lungu in Beijing on Monday.
Hailing the development of China-Zambia ties, Li said China was ready to work with Zambia to push forward the bilateral relations to a new high.
Li said China was ready to carry out production capacity cooperation with Zambia, and help its companies invest in areas including transportation infrastructure construction and electricity.
He also vowed to work with Zambia and Tanzania on a railway connecting the two countries.
Speaking highly of the development achievements of China and its adherence to a peaceful development path, Lungu said Zambia hoped to learn from China' s experience and wanted to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in such areas as trade, investment as well as infrastructure construction of railway and road, and expand cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
The president also welcomed Chinese companies to invest in Zambia.
