Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd will recall 1,105 of its Benz GLA vehicles in China after engines were found with power supply flaws, the country's quality watchdog said on Wednesday.
The affected vehicles were manufactured between June 1-14 this year, according to a notice released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The company said the vehicles could lose power while driving due to the flaws.
The company has promised to repair the faulty components free of charge under a recall starting Sept. 1 this year.
