Didi Kuaidi, U.S.-based Uber's rival in the Chinese mainland, has seen its average daily orders reach about 3 million, Beijing-based financial news portal caixin.com reported Monday.
Liu Qing, the taxi-hailing company's CEO, was quoted by the report as saying that Didi Kuaidi has 1.35 million taxi drivers and 2 million drivers who operate premium and express car services.
The company, backed by Tencent Holdings and Alibaba Group Holding, is also proving various car services such as free rides and car-pooling services, according to Liu.
