Hot on the heels of the Chengdu Motor Show, which wrapped up on Sunday, the 66th International Motor Show 2015 is opening to the press on Tuesday in Frankfurt. Boasting the largest auto show in the world, 2,066 exhibitors from 45 countries last year exhibited 322 world premieres on an area of about 265,000 square meters.
All of the German automakers and parts suppliers strove to impress the world here in their home market. Volkswagen Group, BMW Group and Daimler Group demonstrated their latest technologies, newest mass models, and shared their vision of the future with concept cars. Previously defunct German brand Borgward also reemerged at the show.
