China's car-hailing app company Didi Kuaidi signed separate deals with Lyft and LinkedIn to deepen cooperation during a forum in Seattle, Washington attended by top executives from U.S. and Chinese internet industry leaders, news portal techweb.com.cn reported Thursday. [Special coverage]
Didi and Lyft, a major U.S. car-hailing app, reportedly agreed to cooperate in areas such as product development, technological innovation and market expansion.
The two companies also agreed to link their services to better serve users travelling between China and the U.S., reports said.
In a separate deal, Didi and LinkedIn, a U.S.-based professional social network, agreed to share their platforms to help each other grow, with Didi offering its vast user base in the Chinese mainland and LinkedIn offering its professional customers, reports said.
They also reportedly agreed to cooperate on algorithm technology.
