Chinese authorities announced on Saturday that another 37 administrative charges will be canceled or halted across the country, starting from next month.
The charges include qualification-test fees for business legal advisers and real estate agents, according to a notice released by the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission.
In China, administrative approvals to evaluate, authenticate or review reports usually involve drawn-out and redundant procedures.
Central government departments controlled 1,526 approval items in 2013. About one-third have since been canceled or delegated to lower agencies. A total of 205 had been abolished by the end of 2014 and another 248 will be annulled this year.
