Haier, one of China's top computer producers, will recall 2,121 laptop power adapters in China over safety concerns, said the country's top quality watchdog on Friday.
The affected adapters were manufactured between Feb. 2011 and June 2012, and may catch fire when they overheat, said the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The company will replace the faulty adapters free of charge. The recall will start from Oct. 30.
