China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Monday released a guideline of China's Internet Plus plans, saying the country will further combine the internet with manufacturing in the next three years.
According to the guideline, China will enhance the level of digitalization, connectivity and intelligence of the manufacturing sector by 2018, and work on developing digitally-controlled machine tools, aerospace equipment, advanced rail transportation equipment, marine engineering equipment and high-tech ships, biomedical and high-performance medical technology, agricultural machinery, and new materials.
Experts say the plan will support the Made in China 2025 plan, and bring investment to the intelligent manufacturing sector.
