China's online sports streaming company Le Sports announced a partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The deal enables Le Sports to have the first-ever rights to live stream more than 120 MLB games per season in China for three years starting this month, according to a press release the Chinese company sent to the Global Times Thursday. The company did not disclose the value of the deal.
Le Sports, which spun off China's leading online video streaming company Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp in March 2014, holds more than 280 sports-streaming rights, the press release said.
